Network Storage Server - Economical solution for Mass Storage

The Xnet Solutions provides a series of Network attached Storage Servers (NAS) devices suitable for SMB IT infrastructure. The devices available in four different models are based on Serial ATA (SATA) technology incorporating RAID levels, Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and a range of storage sizes up to 20TB (terabytes). The NS-6 is an intelligent entry level network storage solution supporting file sharing across Linux, Apple OS X, UNIX, and Windows clients and allows remote access via FTP with encryption. The device is aimed at data-intensive applications and can be used to implement Network Storage, Web Server and Torrent Server. The devices offer fault tolerance and load balancing along with other advanced security features.

NAS Storage Server Protocols and Features:

Data file sharing among Windows, Linux OS, and Macintosh users with user name and password protection and managed access in local workgroups.
Built-in FTP server provides convenient high speed file transfers.
NS-6 also has a web server you could set up for a local intranet or similarly add a port forward to open it up to the Internet.
Supports hardware based RAID 0,1,5 and 10.
Additionally, it supports UPnP, TFTP, SSH, and Unison. It even has an iTunes/DAAP server, so you can share files among your iPods. Plus it has a built-in BitTorrent server for peer-to-peer file sharing.
It has support for network protocols such as link aggregation, 802.1q vlan tagging, wireless and Wake On LAN.
