Configuration:
The MX100 can be confirgured in 2 main ways.
- Mail filter or email
firewall. If you have an existing mail server
that is not secure enough to put on the internet then the MX100 can act
as a firewall for your legacy mailserver. The MX100 can filter spam,
stop viruses and in general keep the load on your mailserver down to
manageable levels.
- Main mail server. Just setup
domains and email accounts using
the web interface. Then change your dns records so that the MX records
points to the MX100, and the mail server ready to go. Anti-virus and anti-spam
functions will start to work immediately.
